The road from the coast up towards Moya is typical for Gran Canaria: winding, scenic and with beautiful views across the valley.
The final stretch passes through the village of Lomo Blanco and past some fields. In a few sections the road opens to views into the barranco while the road itself remains relatively narrow. For guests with a fear of heights, this part may therefore feel quite impressive.
The road is narrow for two vehicles in some places but there are several passing points. As traffic is usually very light, many guests find the drive much easier after the first one or two trips.
Lomo Blanco de Moya is a quiet rural area in the green north of Gran Canaria – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.
The region around Moya is known for its lush valleys, steep cliffs and impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean.
A highlight is the historic town centre of Moya with its traditional houses and charming streets. The Church of San Bartolomé is also well worth a visit.
Nature lovers will find many hiking trails in the surrounding area, for example in the Doramas Nature Park.
The cliffs of Los Tilos also offer spectacular views.
